Learning objectives
Progettazione per la mobilità attiva e il benessere

The module aims to provide the basic principles and methods for the design of linear green infrastructures for active mobility, with particular regard to greenways, with reference to the well-being of users.
Moreover, the module aims to provide students with the cultural, methodological and technical foundations that will enable them to address, including in multidisciplinary teams, issues related to the design of open spaces in which contact between people and nature can improve health and well-being.

Il verde per il benessere (Progettare con la natura)

The module aims to provide knowledge to address issues related to nature based design to improve people's well-being.

Il verde per il benessere (Psicologia ambientale)

The module aims to provide basic knowledge on perception, environmental preference and the regenerative value of the natural environment for the purpose of designing green areas. The module aims to provide students with the cultural, methodological and technical basis to apply to a concrete case.
Expected learning outcomes
Progettazione per la mobilità attiva e il benessere

Acquisition of the basic principles of greenway planning and design, knowledge of territorial analysis methods and soft mobility user analysis techniques, acquisition of the technical elements of greenway design.
Knowledge of the Evidence Based Design approach and its theoretical basis, and of its application to the design of green areas for well-being.

Il verde per il benessere (Progettare con la natura)

Acquisition of the basic principles, methods and techniques for nature-based design aimed at improving people's well-being.

Il verde per il benessere (Psicologia ambientale)

Understanding of the psychosocial factors that regulate the interaction between humans and their environment, with particular regard to the beneficial effects of contact with nature.

Assessment methods and Criteria
The assessment of student learning will be carried out through the evaluation of a group project, in which students will have to demonstrate, through a concrete case, the skills acquired in terms of approach, methods, procedures and techniques learned during the course. The project, relating to a study area and linked to the themes developed during the course, will be presented by the group of students during the exam.
The following will be assessed: the level of knowledge of the topics covered during the course, the ability to critically reason, the logical organization of the project tables, the appropriateness of language.
The mark will be communicated to the members of the group immediately after the exam.
Each student in the group will be able to accept the proposed mark or prepare an additional or supplementary table (indicated by the teacher) to possibly improve the grade.
Students with SLD and disabilities are asked to contact the teacher via email at least 10 days before the scheduled exam date to agree on any individualized measures. In the email addressed to the teacher, it is necessary to CC the respective University Services: serviziodsa@unimi.it (for students with SLD) and ufficiodisabili@unimi.it (for students with disabilities).
