Laboratorio di progettazione del paesaggio
A.Y. 2025/2026
Learning objectives
The Laboratory aims to provide students with the basic methods and tools to understand the interactions between landscape transformation interventions and climatic and environmental aspects. In particular, the following topics will be addressed, including through practical application to the workshop case study: sunlight and shadow dynamics, wind dynamics in relation to artificial and natural barriers; the microclimatic effect of vegetation; location and typological choices for artificial and natural elements, with a view to minimising environmental impact and mitigating the effects of landscape transformation on the natural and anthropic systems.
Scelta delle Specie vegetali per il paesaggio
The module aims to provide students with methods and tools for the correct selection of plant species in landscape projects, favouring ecological and environmental sustainability criteria.

Expected learning outcomes
The expected outcome is to learn how to create a landscape design that is consistent with the characteristics of the site and comprehensive in terms of its conceptual and compositional aspects, choice of materials and plant species.
Scelta delle Specie vegetali per il paesaggio
Students are expected to learn how to carry out a landscape design project by choosing the most suitable species and learn how to write a technical report on the plant aspects of the project.
Progettazione del Paesaggio
Students are expected to learn how to design a piece of urban territory and be able to develop a concept and a master plan for the project.
