Learning objectives
The laboratory is addressed to students of Russian language attending the second or the third year of degree course in Foreign Languages and Literatures. It aims to develop the necessary skills for written production in Russian language at levels A2/B1, with particulary attention to textual coherence and cohesion.
Expected learning outcomes
Knowledge: knowledge of the linguistics connectives that highlight spatial, temporal, cause-effect, order, argumentation and evaluation relationships; knowledge of collocations and their functioning.
Skills: knowing how to structure a text logically, paying attention to semantic, morphological and syntactic aspects.

Course syllabus
The first part of the laboratory will be structured in lectures in which narrative, argumentative and evaluative texts will be analyzed. Attention will be focused on their structure and the main linguistic connectives referred to spacial, temporal, cause-effect, order, argumentation and evaluation relationships will be presented. In the second part of the laboratory students will work in groups, carrying out practical exercises aimed at developing of autonomous writing skills. Furthermore they will write texts both in groups and indipendently.
The laboratory will be held in Italian and in Russian.

Period: from the week of 20 March to 19 May 2023.
Applications for admission have to be sent to the teacher (laila.paracchini@unimi.it), from the institutional account, by 19.03.2023, indicating the attended year of couse. The teacher will answer confirming or not confirming the enrollment.
The date and the place of the first lesson will be communicated to enrolled students by email.
The evaluation methods for DSA students must be agreed in advance with the teacher, in agreement with the competent office.

Participants have to be students of Russian language attending the second or the third year of degree course in Foreign Languages and Literatures.

Assessment methods and Criteria
Drafting in group of a written composition which must be given to the teacher. Orally students have to motivate their choices relating to the structure of the composition, the used connectives and the lexicon.
The final assessmet of the exam will be expressed with the "approved/not approved".
