Teaching Workshop: Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language

Learning objectives
The laboratory aims to provide participants with theoretical knowledge and to work with them practically, focusing on the peculiarities of teaching Russian as foreign language. This considering particularly the possible applications of the main teaching methods for the development of knowledge, skills and abilities required within the different levels of RKI certification.
Expected learning outcomes
Knowledge: knowledge of the parameters required within the different levels of RKI certification with reference to vocabulary, grammar, reading, comprehension, writing, speaking, listening. Knowledge of the main teaching methods of Russian as foreign language.
Skills: knowing how to choose the most suitable materials, methods and tools to develop knowledge, skills and abilities in the different areas of certification, at different levels.

After the presentation of the main teaching methods of Russian as foreign language and of the peculiarities of the RKI certification for the different levels of proficiency in Russian, discussions will take place and participants will work in groups to plan and create teaching units aimed at developing the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities for passing the different levels of certification. Lectures, discussion and exercises will be held in Russian.

Applications for admission have to be sent to the teacher (laila.paracchini@unimi.it), from the institutional account, by 16.03.2023, indicating the attended year of couse. The teacher will answer confirming or not confirming the enrollment.
The date and the place of the first lesson will be communicated to enrolled students by email.
The evaluation methods for DSA students must be agreed in advance with the teacher, in agreement with the competent office.

Assessment methods and Criteria
Construction and presentation of a teaching unit.
The final assessmet of the exam will be expressed with the "approved/not approved".
