Learning objectives
The workshop aims to provide students with an overview of the process of theatre creation and staging. We will analyze the relationship between the written word and the staging practice. The dramatic writing in contemporary theatre and the rewriting of the myth will be examined. Some fundamental notions of playwriting and direction history will be provided, and used to stage a new show. Students are required to participate actively.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the workshop, students will acquire the ability to analyze some complex concepts related to the world of entertainment in general. They will be able to examine a play both as a whole and in its various elements, which are necessary for staging. They will achieve some basic notions of direction and scenography.
