Course syllabus
The city is a constantly changing physical and social object, which over the past decades has faced great urban transformations, also due to renewed attention to sustainability issues. These changes have led to a profound modification of the perception of public and private spaces.
The laboratory aims to develop students' ability to interpret this perception, using the resources of environmental psychology to map the subjective characteristics of the shared and personal urban territory. This allows to describe the city with reference to citizens' needs, expectations and practices.
Prerequisites for admission
All students enrolled in Corso di Laurea in Scienze Umane dell'Ambiente, del Territorio e del Paesaggio (LT) and in Corso di Laurea in Valorizzazione Culturale del Territorio e del Paesaggio (LM)

The methodology for carrying out the activities involves a combination of short interactive seminars and practical group activities applied to case studies in the city of Milan.

The reference materials will be provided by the teacher during the laboratory.
