Il corso intende fornire nozioni di base e applicate di anatomia del cane, del gatto e di piccoli mammiferi da affezione. Lo scopo finale è quello di contribuire alla costruzione di figure professionali da inserire nell'ambito produttivo e commerciale e degli allevamenti delle specie di interesse.

NON-ATTENDING STUDENTS
The course will provide basic and applied knowledge of the anatomy of the dog, cat, hamster and rabbit. The ultimate goal is to train experts with adequate knowledge to properly approach pets in all areas, including commercial fields.
Program of the course:
Lectures, 2 credits (16 hours)
· Introduction to the course, general anatomy with a short introduction to the cardiovascular, respiratory, endocrine and nervous systems of the dog and cat (2 hours)
· Musculoskeletal system of the dog and cat (skeleton, basic aspect of miology, main joints - 2 hours)
· Digestive system of the dog and cat (3 hours)
· Urogenital system of the dog and cat (3 hours)
· Integumentary of the dog and cat (2 hours)
· Hamster anatomy (2 hours)
· Rabbit anatomy (2 hours)
Practical training; 1 credit (16 hours)
Seminars and supervised practical training on skeletons and models.
