Il corso si propone di illustrare allo studente le informazioni e i contenuti pratici necessari per  comprendere la rilevanza delle principali ecto- ed endo-parassitosi del cane e delle strategie gestionali ed operative che contribuiscono all'igiene e alla prevenzione ambientale della trasmissione parassitaria in allevamento, ed al miglioramento della convivenza fra uomo e cane

Biology and epidemiology of the parasites of the canine species (4 hrs)
Host-parasite relationship and immunoparasitology of companion animals (4 hrs)
Zoonotic parasites of the dog (4 hrs)
Hygiene and prevention of parasitic infections in dog breeding (4 hrs)

Practical sessions:
Elements of morphology and monitoring of endo- and ecto-parasites (8 hrs)
Parasitological monitoring and hygiene in companion animal breeding (8 hrs)
