Learning objectives
The main learning objectives of the course are:
- to know the main systems of neurological semiotics;
- to know the main diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system in adult and childhood;
- to know the main investigation systems and the main otorhinolaryngological diseases;
- to know the main phonosurgical and cervical oncology interventions;
- to know the principles of neurosurgery;
- to know the principles of rehabilitation and their applications to the main pathological conditions;
- to know the main imaging systems and with particular attention to the neuroimagin (CT, NMR, fMRI, PET, SPECT).
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be able to know the clinical pictures related to the main diseases of the nervous system and of the head and neck cancer. The student will also know the main diagnostic techniques and the principles of rehabilitation.
