2) explore synergistic effects of dietary components through the use of dietary patterns
3) develop alternative approaches to assess the relationship between dietary patterns and health or disease outcomes.
Expected learning outcomes
1) develop group project to assess the association between dietary patterns and health or disease outcomes mimicking aims of traditional approaches but providing novelty
2) develop the soft skills necessary to understand which dietary variables to use as inputs for dietary patterns identification, which confounders to use, and which outcomes to use, and interpret the results in light of previous literature and knowledge
