Itprovidesinstructionsforbibliography, sitography, footnotes, quotes,specificterminology and writingstylesforthemainsubjectsofthedegreecourseofScienzeUmanedell'Ambiente, del Territorio e del Paesaggio.

The workshop deals with the following topics:
· different types of thesis, different scientific research methods;
· how to choose the thesis topic;
· scientific research and use of sources (written, oral, paperand on-line);
· index, chapters and paragraphs;
· specific terminology and keywords;
· footnotes and quotes;
· bibliography and sitography.
Workshop will last 20 hours (in-person). The course will be in:
- 3/11, 14:30-18:30
-10/11, 14:30-18:30
-17/11, 14:30-18:30
-24/11, 14:30-18:30
- 1/12, 14:30-18:30
Students will be able to register by sending an email before October 6th to arianna.gasperini@unimi.it , specifying their name and surname, student number and list of passed exams. Registrations will be accepted up to a maximum of 20 participants, according to the following criteria:
- being in the third year
- number of passed exams
- highest average
Any admission to the Laboratory will be communicated on October 9th.
Students are reminded that during the course of the Laboratory it will be necessary to register through the SIFA to access the 3 CFU.

The Laboratory is open to students of the Bachelor's degree programme in Human Science of Environment, Landscape and Territory

The workshop includes a combination of interactive lessons; individual and group practical activities (learning by doing)

Assessment methods and Criteria
Attendance is required and a maximum of 20% absences (4 hours) will be allowed.
The final examination aims at verifying the students' skills and consists in writing significant parts of the dissertation
