Learning objectives
The workshop will introduce students to the main theoretical and pragmatic problems of critical activity. A number of case studies will be discussed in class, with the aim of reasoning about methods and tools needed to deal with various topics, from the perspectives of different disciplines. To this end, lessons will be held by teachers from different fields, from the BA in Humanities, with the purpose of encouraging a diversified vision of criticism, and forming the basis of the students' competence in the study of literary texts and sources.
Expected learning outcomes
Knowledge of methods of study and analysis of literary texts and sources.
Ability to distinguish basic methodological and bibliographical tools.

Course syllabus
The workshop takes place over 20 hours, with 10 meetings of two hours each. Each lesson will be devoted to a different field of study, with active participation of the students and individual or group activities, scheduled for the last three meetings of the workshop.

Lectures with collective discussion.
Individual and group practical exercises.

Teaching materials will be provided by the lecturers in digital format, or specific texts will be indicated.
Assessment methods and Criteria
During the last three meetings, each student, under the supervision of one or more teachers, will give a short presentation of their assignment.
