Learning objectives: The laboratory aims to provide knowledge for understanding the terrestrial landscape and its evolution, highlighting relationships between the different components of the environment with innovative tools based on remote-sensing and of environmental data.

Expected learning outcomes: Transversal skills in reading the terrestrial landscape and its evolution. Skills in use of environmental data obtained through remote-sensing platforms.

Course syllabus: Introduction to physical geography: innovative methods and tools. Human Geography vs Physical Geography. Remote sensing (types of platforms, sensors and applications). Photointerpretation and photogeology. Dating methods. Weather and climatological data: collection, management and analysis. Thematic cartography and webgis.
Prerequisites for admission
Prerequisites for admission: It is recommended to have followed physical geography.
