Learning objectives
l'obiettivo del corso è lo studio di come l'informazione multimediale viene acquisita, codificata ed elaborata nelle applicazioni su computer. A partire da concetti di base di elaborazione numerica di segnali, il corso si focalizza su elementi di teoria e pratica orientati alla manipolazione del contenuto informativo multimodale fornito da audio, immagini e video, i tre principali capisaldi dei moderni sistemi digitali nell'ambito dei media e della comunicazione, nonché delle tecnologie multimediali. Lo studio è corredato da esercitazioni di laboratorio basate su specifiche applicazioni e l'ambiente di calcolo numerico e simulazione MATLAB™
